Apologies in advance for the word vomit that is about to be this article, but what’s new? I never promised to have perfect grammar, but I’ve always promised to be real. With that…

Blaire is from a family of artists in Santa Cruz, California. She attributes growing up in nature, along with the mental and physical health battles she struggled with throughout her youth, to her deep desire to help others heal, through a primarily holistic approach. She assumed a position of great responsibility, when she was elected Student Body President of San Diego State University and CEO of Associated Students, a $26.8 million non-profit, at the age of 21. In that role, she became even more passionate about women empowerment, access to higher education and health services and the psychology of human relationships and began writing and speaking about these topics, sometimes to crowds of up to 14,000 people. A colleague of hers at the time states, “She challenged the way I and others thought about leadership and left an imprint on our hearts, that lasted long after she was gone. She was often found sitting with students in casual attire, cross-legged on the grass, chatting with them about ways to improve their experience; requesting to speak sitting with an audience, instead of at a podium and introducing herself to or making eye-contact with each person in the room, before she’d sit down. She believed that, “Work is nothing without people. To understand work, you must first, understand people.” This reflects in everything she does.”" She moved to Los Angeles in 2016 and began a career in Marketing and Human Resources at Sony Pictures. She also worked for the influential entrepreneur, Lewis Howes. Being surrounded by creators in the entertainment industry, inspired Blaire to begin posting her writing online, to connect with and help more people. Her first public piece, which she is now turning into a book, detailed her personal dating experiences in Los Angeles and provided a raw and refreshing perspective on modern love, dating and romance. Her writing became popular for it’s, “bluntness, authenticity and humor. When you're reading it, you feel like you're talking to your best-friend and the insight she provides is healing.” She quickly garnered hundreds of thousands of readers around the world. In 2019, she experienced another bout of illness, when she was diagnosed with Lyme disease. This made her realize it was finally time to dedicate the rest of her life to helping others, full-time. She moved to the United Kingdom to pursue her Masters of Science in Health Psychology, at the University of St Andrews. She now works full-time in London, continues to write, runs her own private self-development practice and plans to become a doctor. In her free time, she enjoys living an active lifestyle, spontaneous adventures and anything that has to do with music. You can usually find her at the beach in California or sipping coffee, getting lost in an art gallery, in London. She fiercely supports women who dare to live their best lives, live differently and pursue their dreams. She is honored to be a featured writer on Woman Up.
